  RED VARIETIES 

 

ATTRACTION (L) Burgundy red flowers
CHARLES DE MEURVILLE (L) True plant, very large wine-red flowers, prolific early in the season.
ELLISIANA (S/M) The true plant, not Laydekeri Fulgens, which is generally offered. It has a long flowering period from May to October. The flowers initially rose coloured, deepen to glowing red. Probably the very best of all the lilies.
ESCARBOUCLE (L) Strong carmine deep red blooms. One of the best red varieties.
 
FROEBELI (S/M) Profusion of cherry red flowers.
JAMES BRYDON (M/L) Cup shaped Old Rose flowers.
LAYDEKERI FULGENS (S) Masses of deep red blooms, some of the early flowers pinkish red, darkening with age.
LAYDEKERI PURPURATA (S/M) Pale wine coloured flowers.
REMBRANDT  (M/L) Dark red flowers enhanced by purple green foliage.
RENE GERARD (M/L) Light rosy red flowers.
WILLIAM FALCONER (S/M) Good blood red flowers, with a long flowering period.

 

 

 WHITE VARIETIES   

 

CANDIDISSIMA (S/M) Quite a strong grower with apple-green foliage and pristine white flowers.
CAROLINIANA NIVEA (S/M) Stellate scented white flowers held above the water.
GONNERE (M) Double white chrysanthemum like flowers.
HERMINE (M) Slightly pointed leaves, and white flowers often standing above the water.
MARLIACEA ALBIDA (L) White flower with yellow stamens.
ODORATA MINOR ALBA (S) Small white flowers. A variety which needs shallow water.
PYGMAEA ALBA  (S) Miniature lily with dainty white flowers. Very prolific.
WALTER PAGELS  (S) Small odorata lily, blush-white flowers - prolific.

 

    YELLOW VARIETIES  

 

JOEY TOMOICK (M/L) Medium-large lily of the deepest yellow.
MARLIACEA CHROMATELLA (M/L) Robust lily yellow flowers.
ODORATA SULPHUREA (S/M) Profusion of flowers above the water.
PYGMAEA HELVOLA  (S) Miniature lily for very shallow sheltered pond. Suitable depth 15cm-20cm.
SUNRISE (M/L) Lemon crimpled flowers of immense size. 25cm-30cm across not unknown. True plant. This is not N.Sulphurea Grandiflora.
MOOREI (M/L) Similar to Chromatella. Speckled leaves with chrome yellow flowers. Quite rare to see this true lily.

INDIANA (S) Flecked leaves, tangerine orange to brick red flowers.

AMABILIS (M/L) Spectacular open salmon pink flowers-prolific bloomer.
FABIOLA (L) Large rosy pink flowers for big pools.
HOLLANDIA (L) Strong grower, superb shaped deep pink flowers.
LAYDEKERI LILACEA  (S) Small lilac pink flowers held above the water.
MADAME DE BONSEIGNEUR (M) Pink red candy striped flowers, glossy green leaves with remarkable serrated edge. Requires warm sunny position.
MADAME WILFRON GONNERE (M/L) Roundish soft to full pink flowers.
MARLIACEA CARNEA (L) Blush-white flowers.
MASANIELLO (M/L) Very tough pink lily for large ponds.
ODORATA CAROLILIANA (M) Prolific bloomer sugar pink flowers held above the water.
ODORATA FIRECREST (M) True plant, bright coral pink flowers.
ODORATA ROSE AREY  (S/M) True plant with superb coral pink flowers.
ODORATA PETER SLOCUM (M) The flowers will vary from a fleshy pink to quite a deep colour and are of classical shape. Requires a very warm position.
PINK DOMINO  (M) A seedling of pink sensation raised by Dorset Water Lily Co. Strong pink multipetalled. Marliacea root stock.
PINK HYBRID (M/L) Australian variety, prolific seedling with large shell pink flowers, (not an Odorata Lily).
PINK PANACHE  (S/M) Seedling of N Hollandia raised by Dorset Water Lily Co, good strong pink flowers, small round leaves, Marliacea root stock.
PINK SENSATION (M/L) One of the best contrasting lilies, with greenish-purple foliage and wonderful mid-pink flowers which emerge continuously throughout the summer.
ROSE MAGNOLIA (M/L) Wide span light pink flowers, turning cream.
