LE JARDIN PERDU - 2005  


Chance upon a garden with its romantic ruins of an old Abbey, neglected by time and unseen to the outside world.

Here we created a ‘lost garden’ with Gothic arches, fallen masonry and irregular paving leading to a long-forgotten lily pond containing the most beautiful lilies and lotus.
 

Heavily-scented plants flank the pond and you are encouraged to peer through the arches and explore this beautiful time-forgotten garden.

It was awarded the R.H.S. Silver-Gilt Medal.
